Bode's Moonlight Gardens offers pick-your-own pumpkins from the patch, or choose from the selection we have picked and waiting for you in our shop. Our mentors in the field
We learned the ropes of growing acres of pumpkins from our neighbors, mentors and friends John and Helen Scuffham of Scuffham's Gardens. In 2014, we got started in the commercial pumpkin business with their help. After growing a successful pumpkin wholesale business over the course of many years, they were ready to retire from it. They trained us to take on that opportunity, and we have learned a lot in the process. In 2020, they were ready to retire their u-pick pumpkin patch, and encouraged us to open our own. We are thankful for the help and guidance they have provided to us over the past several years.
Visitor Policy
- Please do not come to the farm and/or pumpkin patch during regular hours if you are ill, if you are currently under quarantine for an illness or have recently been exposed to someone with a positive case of COVID-19.
- We love pets of all kinds, but please do not bring them to the farm.
- Masks are not required, but you are welcome to wear one during your visit.
- If you want to come to the farm, but have a safety concern, please contact us. We'll do our best to find a solution that works for you. A private picking time might work!
- It's easy to social distance from others while at the pumpkin patch - thank you for respecting others by keeping a 6 foot distance between groups.
