We're building a barn!

In the spring of 2016, we broke ground on an exciting project at the farm...a new barn. This building will serve as both a house and a work space for us. It will include living quarters for our family, plus a washing, packing and storage area designed for fresh produce. 

The "Grow Room" was a great help to us this winter.  This is a space to germinate seeds, nurture small seedling and do transplanting into larger pots.  We squeezed a ton of plants into this area as snow fell as late as April 18 this year!

Another valuable addition is the walk-in cooler, which went up just in time for harvesting greens in the spring of 2018.  

When will it be done? That is a question we ask ourselves often.  At this pace, summer of 2018 is a possibility.  We will let you know when and hope to host some open house events when that time comes.

When July came, we began putting up the bents.
