Pumpkin Patch is closed for the 2024 season
Bode's Moonlight Gardens offers pick-your-own pumpkins from the patch, or choose from the selection we have picked and waiting for you in our shop. We raise more than 60 different varieties of pumpkins, gourds and squash, featuring a wide range of specialty pumpkins, mini-size pumpkins and gourds, winter squash, pie pumpkins and, of course, nice big orange ones for carving!
Paying for your pumpkins
Bode's Moonlight Gardens accepts cash, checks and Venmo for purchases. At this time we do not accept debit or credit cards. Thank you!
Visit the farm
There is no fee to visit our farm. We offer a pick-your-own patch in a natural farm setting. We do not have a corn maze or big slides at our farm, but if you are looking for big open fields with room to roam...we've got it! Visitors are also welcome to take a stroll through our quarter-mile trail through the woods while they are here, meet the world's friendliest potbellied pig, and take all the photos they want. A restroom is available for use. Special events do happen on specific days - be sure to follow us on Facebook for updates!
Farm Hours
The farm is open during the month of October only, on the weekends. Beginning Saturday, October 5 and going through Sunday, October 2, the farm is open on Saturdays (10-4) and Sundays (12-4). Other times may be available by appointment, if needed.

Group Tours

Our Pumpkin Patch - Continuing a Tradition
Many people in the Algona and Kossuth County area enjoyed a fall tradition of going to Scuffham's Gardens to pick pumpkins. When John and Helen Scuffham retired from operating their pumpkin patch, they encouraged us to open our own. We are thankful for the help and guidance they have provided to us over the past several years as mentors, neighbors and friends.
